Listening to Vampire Weekend's new album "Modern Vampires of the City" and loving it. Skye once told me that Vampire Weekend made happy music for children. The girl of mine cracks me up!
Reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I saw some reviews on Goodreads months ago and added it to my to-read list and when I was in Kmart last week I pick up a copy. So far so good.
Excited about my new hair cut. Lots of layers that make it very wavy when I let it dry naturally and a cooper red colour looks warm and is a nice change from the grey streaked brown dry hair I had before.
Baking lots of cookies for the kids to take to school in there lunch boxes. Made some with Smarties instead of chocolate chips yesterday and they tasted yummy!
Enjoying the crisp winter mornings, wearing woolen jumpers and late afternoon walks with Reuben and our dogs Buffy & Kendra.
Watching Criminal Minds Season 6 with my hubby at night when the kids are in bed. This show is awesome and some episodes can get quite dark, but I like it that way.
Thinking about blogging more regularly once again. I like to document our life, and its good therapy for me.
Looking forward to having a couple of friends around on Sunday for roast lamb, delicious! And celebrating my hubby's birthday on Monday.
