My iPhone and I

On a bright sunny morning my iPhone and I went on a walk around the neighborhood. I listened to some cool tunes and snapped pictures of all the pretty things I could see.

This week I'm grateful for

This week I'm grateful for;

1) My Camera, I'm the most happiest when I am snapping pictures of my family, my garden, my designs and anything I can find.

2) My husband, I just love him to bits. He really is everything to me. We got a little drunk together on Thursday night and we were having so much fun laughing and talking. Didn't feel to good on Friday morning though, but it was worth it.

3) Alex, my elder daughter she is the most amazing helper in the house. She baked the yummiest Cinnamon scrolls this week for school lunch box treats and we have been eating them all week.

Busy

I've had such a busy start to the week,
lots of new goodies added to my store.

Tones of orders have been handmade,
I love what I do, it brings so much joy!

I feel so truly blessed,
to create with my heart everyday.

I have such wonderful customers,
and a loving supportive husband to packs the parcels.

The Date

This morning after dropping the three kids at school, Reuben and I headed to the cinema that was playing Senna.

It's a film documentary about Ayrton Senna who was a formula one racing drive that died aged 34. My husband is a big F1 fan, and surprisingly I enjoyed it too.

We had some subway for lunch - so very romantic. But we weren't very hungry after movies snacks were consumed.

We came home and made love, the perfect ending to the date!

♥ Lungs and Pikelets

Called in sick today, it’s not as easy as it sounds when you work for yourself. I have been feeling guilty all day. At least I answered emails, and ordered some stock.

My stupid lungs kept me awake most of the night with the wheezing and the fighting for air! I think I have finally got my asthma under control...but my hands are shaking because of all the Ventolin. I feel like somebody has punched me in the lungs, they are so sore.

Hubby is on afternoon shift and won't be around for dinner. So I decided to make pikelets with strawberry jam and whipped cream. And maybe we will have some toasted sandwiches if we are still hungry. The kids are excited to such an unconventional meal.

♥ headband with noddles

Eating two minute noddles has never looked so pretty!

Skye has had the last two days off school recovering from a tummy bug...today her energy levels are up and she is ready to return to school tomorrow.

Meanwhile I made a new headband, thinking of calling it Seashore. Wondering though if I should make the flowers bigger, what do you think?

Lucas

My oldest and closest friends Sam and Glenn welcomed Lucas into the world a couple of weeks ago. He is so cute, I wanted to take him home with me today. I won a bottle of champagne, because I was the closest guess for his name (luke) at Sam's baby shower.

I have known Sam since primary school, we lost touch when we went to separate high schools. But we met up again when we were both worked at McDonald's.

When Alex was born, Sam was always there for me. I was only 20 at the time, and all my friends were going out and drinking and I couldn't do that anymore. So I lost touch with them all, I would have felt lonely if it wasn't for Sam. She came over all the time, and we would take Alex for walks in her pram. Sam's shoulder was the one would cry on.

My husband, Reuben has been friends with Glenn since high school. Glenn was one of first of Reuben's friends I met when we got together. He was also the one that drove us to the hospital when I was in labour with Alex, because we didn't have a car or a drivers license at the time.

Sam and Glenn meet through us, and friendship turned into love. They spend a few years overseas, and I missed them deeply while they were away. I am so happy they are back in Australia I would have not wanted to miss meeting sweet baby Lucas.
