End of Term

It's the end of second term at school today. And we are all excited, it feels like its been a long time since the last school holidays. I am looking forward to three weeks of sleep-ins! We have all been so tired lately, life can get too busy sometimes. Now we can slow everything down and relax  and enjoy winter a little. My Hubby doesn't  have any time off these holidays so we don't have any awesome plans to go away. We might take the kids to visit my parents in Lakes Entrance one of the weeks. It would be good to see how they are settling in there new home

I love having this gorgeous reserve behind our house with the beautiful afternoon night. The sunset was amazing when I took some pictures of the kids on our walk today. I am starting to get used to posting pictures of myself. I asked Alex to take some of me, this one was my favorite. Beauty comes in every shapes and sizes. And its time to stop being ashamed.

First Wedding

Inga + Brent

The location was a small park space across from the RSL building, with houses all around it and bathed in sunlight and with a couple of trees around the edges. The ceremony started at 1pm. The couple took on the tremendous task of planing a wedding in only four weeks. We meet the bride and groom for the first time around the corner waiting for the bagpiper to lead them down the pathway.  The ceremony was short and sweet. The couple meet online, and the groom fell in love with the brides floral cardigans. Earlier in the day Meredith has asked the celebrant to announce a group picture straight after the proceedings. This turned out an awesome idea, otherwise I don't think we would have been able to get all the family and friends to gather for us in the one spot. Everyone was very keen to head to the reception as quick as possible including the bride & groom.

After the group shoot we had about 15 minutes to shoot with the bride, groom before family shoots on the front steps and everyone headed inside for the reception. We used a spot in open shade by a tree that Meredith and I had scouted out the day before. The bride was cold so we didn't stay there too long, just a few of shots. We tried our best considering all factors happening on the day and had a lot of fun. I definitely would like some more experience posing couples and interacting with people before I would attempt another wedding.  Finding my style? I think I like candid, natural shots more than posy ones.
