Changes

It's been an interesting start to the year. Changes are already starting to take place. My husband & I are thinking of selling our house and moving to something bigger. The five of us have out grown our tiny three bedroom home. This is both exciting and scary. I fell in love and became a mum in this house.

I really need a bigger area that I can call my own to make my hair accessories in. I have been working in a small section of our lounge room for the last 5 years, that I called my studio. Last week we moved my studio to the garage, so far its working out OK (a bit hot this week with the warmer weather in Melbourne). I am going to try and make this temporary spot as pretty as I can. But really who wants to create beautiful things in a tin shed forever!  So we are looking for the perfect new home, and its not as easy as I thought it would be. But I do have a house crush...and nothing else compares to it yet. On Friday afternoon we get to walk though it and see if its a lovely as the pictures online tell us it is.

I adore change! Very exciting. We are also nutting out whether to extend or buy. Agree, hard to leave our little home with so many memories within these walls.

Good luck with the house hunting.

Wow, that's so exciting, Kelly. It's hard to leave your 'first home', but the rewards will be so worth it. We did it when we had the Badoo and couldn't work a 2 bedroom semi in the inner city any more. You'll always have your memories, I promise. x

As somebody who just left my first home I know how you feel. The change is big but expanding is exciting.

You can bring your old memories with you and build new ones where you go!

Oh, this is very exciting! Nerve wrecking, but still exciting!

I wonder where you will end up. The unknown is a thrilling place to be.

Happy house hunting!
