Casual Blogger

I have become a casual blogger! I didn’t mean too, it was never my intention. Would you believe me if I told you just how incredibly busy I am? Things are crazy around here, and I just don’t get “ME” time anymore.

I wake up in the morning get the kids to school, have breakfast and a shower, do a load of washing, answer emails, make hair clips until school pick up time, post those orders made, start dinner, bring in washing from the line, eat dinner, help kids with homework, put the kids to bed, chill out on the couch with my husband, and in bed by 10pm.

I am usually a night owl and rarely go to bed before 2am. This is my normal blog time; when my husband and kids are asleep and it’s only me awake. But lately I am so exhausted at the end of the day and just can’t stay up like I used too.

I miss my ME time! I like to blog, it give me the chance to reflect on the feelings & emotions that I am going through. Without it I feel numb! . Blogging makes me a better person, makes me connect to the world outside of my head. I must try harder to make the time for it.

If I didn't know better, I would think that you have a life!! How dare you!! It happens - blog when you can.

I've kinda done the same. I just don't have the kind of time I used to have right now. Fits and starts. We'll get there. I'm happy, you're happy, we're happy either way. x

Oh, Kelly..try to get to bed by 11 one night will you :) I've got a theory that most people start blogging when they've got some sort of spare time window they never had before. Doesn't mean it can be preserved. Casual blogger approach around your busy lifestyle is a good one to have. Your fingers are busy enough!

It's such a tricky balance, isn't it, Kelly? I know I should be in bed by now but gee, I relish the quietness and the chance to interact with sweet souls like you. J x

I am in the same boat too! Since my #2 bub is on the move I am crazy busy now. Rarely have time to blog let alone read my fave blogs. Add in gym sessions 4-5 days a week I am zonked by the time the girls are in bed and flake out on the lounge... I think its a good thing that you are busy with life. It goes by way too soon so its good to be busy enjoying it <3

There must be something in the air coz I'm in the same dilemma too. With hubby away, I rarely find time to stop & do the things for "me" too. Let's hope we all get that much deserved Time soon :) Have a great weekend!

Hey, there is nothing wrong with casual! I am a casual blogger as well from time to time - until I get back into the swing of things again.
