This week I am grateful for...

1) The yellow weeds {above image} - Dandelion, they are so pretty and it I feel a little sad when my husband mows the grass and they disappear. Our front yard is covered in them at the moment and it makes me smile everyday.

2) My new 50mm 1.4 lens! Oh my goodness I don’t know why it took me so long to move away from my kit lens. I just love the soft dreamy focus at 1.4 and the sharpness at 2.8.

3) Tissues – with all 5 of us sick with a cold this week, I don’t know how we would live without the fabulous invention “the box of tissues”!

See more grateful post over at and then there were four today!

Those yellow flowers bring back such funny memories for me ... bear with me, this could get weird.

At primary school, my best friend and I would call them 'wee wee flowers' and were convinced that if someone ran up and rubbed one on you that you would wet the bed that night!

I really don't know where the legend of the 'wee wee flower' came from, but everyone I've told this to looks at my like I've got two heads!

Get well soon. x

I'm a little bit cross with those little yellow flowers at the moment...it was because of them that I got a bee sting recently :-(

But they are pretty...a little bit of unexpected colour - so won't stay cross for long!!
have a great weekend
