On sunday we celebrated my son Phoenix’s 7th Birthday with family and friends. I made his birthday cake with a Donna Hay recipe and my husband helped to decorated it. I think it looked awesome, and it tasted delicious!

Good on you for making the cake!!!Donna Hay has really good receipes but after seeing her on Masterchef I'm not so keen on the person...welll she doesn't come across that well on TV - rather snobby.

Happy birthday Phoenix! I love his name, it's my girl's middle name. I so, so wanted it for her first name but it doesn't work for my husband. Love it as a boy's name too.
