point and shoot: the good and the bad

My weekend was freckled with the good and the bad.

The Bad: Our pre-booked tickets to see Salt in the cinema were not used as my sister the babysitter was vomiting on Friday night (hope you are feeling better soon Meg), a trip to the hospital on Saturday to visit my mum she slipped whilst cleaning my sisters vomit and broken her leg (she is still in hospital awaiting surgery), the voting line sucked so cold and wet and I spend another Sunday inside the house making orders.

The Good: $3.50 bargain flowers sitting on my dinning room table (see pic above), my wonderful husband cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast, trying out a new recipe, and it was delicious, my beautiful children mostly happy all weekend, roast chicken for Sunday dinner, started reading a new book, good beer and lots of sleep.

How was your weekend? Visit fatmumslim to see more from point and shoot!

Eek! Hope your mum and sister are on the mend? What a domino effect. Our weekend was busy and good. Think might have caught the teen's cold though. Boo.

oh my goodness your poor mum and sister!!! That's really rotten luck :(
The Gerbra's are the most stunning colour and I will look forward to see what you think of Mr King's book as I haven't read one of his for a long time. xox ps tell your mum to get a groovy coloured cast if she has to have one :)

I want flowers like that.

I hope your Mum is okay after the surgery. What a muddle of events huh? No winners there :(

Love the flowers though - thoughtful of your hubby.

Good luck dealing with all the aftermath.

Eesh. I hope all your loved ones get better soon.

That flower is gorgeous. And bacon can cure all ills.
