At the start of the year I was excited about the fact that this would be the last year Skye would be home with me (except for kinder sessions). I was looking forward to having all three children at school. I would be great for my little home business; my attentions would be less divided during the day. I could do wholesale orders, expand my range and turnaround times would be quicker....
But just in the last couple of weeks it has hit me that I only have a few months left with her at home with me. Next year she will be a big girl starting her first year at school. I am overcome with sadness at the thought of losing her to the big wide world.
What does a stay at home mum do when all her children are at school?

What a beautiful post! I know how you feel. In some ways I cannot wait to get Mr3 out the door, but even on the two days he's at preschool I miss him. I'm getting off the internet this minute to go and spend some time with him. Thanks!
Awh I so badly want to be a stay at home mum, but I am not even a mum lol.. so that might take a while. Why not start your own business?Or do DIY Projects and load them onto your blog so we all can see it.
I love your hair clips! Do you have a website? I am in the market... the Minx is starting to keep them in, which is timely because her fringe is getting soooo long now.
Hi Kelly,
I have finally made it over to your blog! Sorry it has taken me a while. It looks great :) I have a couple more years before I have both boys at school but really by the time you drop them off, do all your running around and be there to pick them up at 3, I find the day goes by soooo fast.x
Thanks so much everyone for your comments today. I am sure once I get over the shock of it, I will love the free time once Skye is at school next year. ~MultipleMum: my website is: www.hairfairyclips.com.au
Aww, I too think I will feel bereft when my youngest trots off to school...I guess what mums do is more work? Hmm.
Beautiful photos :) I felt totally lost when my son began school, but then realised I just had to adapt like he was having to do. Your day will fly by!
Hi Kelly. I have 3 kids and my eldest is starting school next year. I have always thought that it will be ace once they are all off to school. I will be able to go to a cafe, order breakfast and eat it all myself without sharing and sit there and read a magazine all day if I want to without anyone telling me to hurry up / help them / fix something etc ... But now that I have read your post maybe I will be a little sad/ lost too. Reckon I will enjoying being "me" though ... just have to remember what it was that I liked doing before the kids came along!
